Getting Ready to Go

Okay, ya'll. I've been talkin' about it for a long time and now I'm doing it. I'm officially committed to a Blog. Yes, yes, we all know about my fear of commitment, but 'cha gotta start somewhere.

I want to be able to share my travels with you as I trek around Spain for a month. This will also reassure my mother I'm still alive. HI, MAMA! (Ya always gotta give ya mama a shoutout.)

Feel free to leave me comments for the times I need reassurance somebody, somewhere is thinkin' 'bout a sistah. To be honest, as adventurous and independent as I claim to be, I'm a bit nervous. *Shhh, don't tell nobody. We all know I'm a SKRONG black woman.* Nevertheless, I'm looking forward to exploring a different country all on my own. I plan to return with broadened horizons and a firmer grip on my Spanish.

¡Adiós!

Well, let me be the first then. I'm reading your signals loud and clear, have bookmarked your site, and will be keeping an eye on you during your travels in Spain and after. Good luck on your voyages--through Spain, through blogworld, and through life.

Oh, yeah, and welcome to the neighborhood. But I should warn you: blogworld can swallow you whole...

This is the first I am hearing of this incredible journey, although we email all the time. (smile) Once again I am so very proud of you for living life to the fullest.
With God as your shephard you will be just fine. Continue to pray in the name of Jesus son of God, and he will see you through.
There is so much I wish I would have done when I was younger and you are actually doing what you set out to do. That is one of the things I admire about you!
So take care, God Bless you and stay in touch girl!!!! Have lots of fun!
